"Low" mining profitability today, why is that ?

Please educate me. Ethereum's price seems good today but the profitability as shown on whattomine.com seems fairly low. Does that mean the difficulty of the network has suddenly increased ? I'ld love some insight on those particular "events" Thanks ! submitted by /u/GutBeer101 [link] [comments]
